Development of safety measures, safety concepts, system solutions, architectures of vehicle control systems and control technology.
Implementation of qualitative and quantitative safety analyses (FMEA, FTA), calculation of achieved failure rates
Risk evaluation and preparation of safety certificates (EN 50129, EN 50657)

Authorization for Rolling Stock Vehicles (ERA)
Determination of approval-relevant requirements for vehicles and subcomponents (requirement capture)
Advice on the approval process for mainline rail vehicles (NNTR, TSI, NoBo, DeBo, AsBo, EBA, ERA, ...)
Development of a plan for the provision of all necessary evidence in accordance with TSI and NTR
Ensuring effective communication and cooperation between suppliers, manufacturers, assessment bodies (DeBo, NoBo) and operators, management of technical interfaces
Official processing, e.g. applications, One-Stop-Shop, ERATV, ERADIS and national supervisory authority
Preparation of manufacturer documentation such as EC declarations of verification, applications and requests for authorities
Carrying out internal assessments and cooperation with external assessment bodies (DeBo, NoBo) to ensure conformity.
